Good game, but the difficulty is kind of odd... It's hard at first, but once you get the m4, you may as well just fall asleep with your mouse held down. 4/5 for the difficulty at the start and the general uselessness of the upgrades.

The AI of the soldiers is pathetic... they will walk halfway across the battlefield to hit one archer even if three enemy units are attacking them, or they will ignore the archers that are tearing them apart and kill some random soldier. Also, it feels that if you lose a battle, you lose it by chance, because you can lose even if you far outnumber the enemy. Lastly, its annoying to move your army from your home to the front lines, since half of them desert me on each stop since I don't have enough population to house them all at each city, only the city that they are going to. And did I mention slow?
I didn't have too much problem with the controls, its just that the game itself didn't have too much replay value as you can get the best weps after the second or third round...
