If anyone wanted the backstory to Shadow of the Colossus, it is about a hero with a special sword who goes to the end of the earth with his dead girlfriend/wife etc. The spirits there see the sword and tell him he can save her if he defeats the colossi. For the rest of the game, you run around the map searching for the colossi, then killing them. In the end, the guy gets his girl back. It's a pretty simple game, but the scenery was beautiful.
