mm, won’t let me reply to comments sometimes, and this is one of those times D:
it wasn’t an AS3 game. it was a bad game made with stencyl a while ago that I decided to upload, but I did freshen things up a bit first.

I don’t know how you manage to do AS3. I hate it. The syntax is so unlike the ones I’m used to, which is C++ and a little python. All this graphics programming is just difficult, whereas with C++ I can do many things much more easily than in AS3.

I just though that, since your first line on your account info is: “I’m using Flash CS5.5 for AS3 now.”, and that the game, which I commented, was about one month old. Yes, I should probably have readen line two better, but it says stencyl work for ‘other people’, or I should have thinked more about the stencyl logo, but I havn’t used stencyl.

Of course you don’t know, how I manage AS3..
I don’t find the syntax any harder than Python or C++. It’s just about learning some new rules. Since I am very skilled in, and interested in, mathematics, the thing I found hardest with AS3 in the start, was how coordinates and points work. The fact that (0,0) is the upper left corner was very wierd at first, and that makes graphics programming just a little more difficult, but I got used to it, and I don’t find graphics programming difficult.
How can it be more difficult than to learn some algorithms like center rectangle in rectangle? I find UI (User Interface) design much harder. You can do many things much easier in C++ than AS3? Well.. There will always be such problems between languages, and they go both ways. I don’t care. There is also things, that can be easier achieved in AS3 than C++.

Everything you said is true, but with C++ you spend your early year or two just doing console programming and no graphics. I’ve done a little experimenting with the Windows API and OpenGL but not much.
