4 stars, because it was original and fresh.
It had not a very decent amount of FPS, and the graphics seeemed to kind of flick-off due to the view changes.
But, apart from that, it was a nice experience.
Plain raw. Just, a very basic game prototype. An early, very early prototype.
It has just got the basic movements of the player, the jump (which is very raw itself) and the pick up.
The boss fires only 1 type of bullet, which one goes left and one right.
I played the game 1 minute, and it quickly became very boring.
I reccommend to work more on games before realeasign them on websites like Kongregate. There isn't even a proper description or proper instructions written. Instead of making a 1-day junk and releasing as fast as light goes on Kongregate, take your time and make something playable, worth the attention of players. Thanks for reading my comment.
There is still a bug in level 5.
I cannot win because Vercing doesn't take any damage, neither from Caesar or regular troops. When Caesar or Vercing are damaged the screen flashes for a fraction of second and the characters don't take any damage.
Please fix the bug.
I didn't like Ending C.
I would have preferred an ending where you kill the two adventurers, ahaha...
But jokes aside, great game! It can be a bit boring to repeat everything just to achieve another ending, but that's still good stuff.
Beautiful. Just beautiful. I played it so much, it teached almost everything I know about micro-biology, which interests me a lot. Thanks for making a truly beautiful game, educative and fun.
Rudy, I like your team's games. I'm an huge fan of the Epic War series. But I'm writing this comment just to tell you that Epic War is ruined forever. I liked every previous chapter, but with this game, I refuse to continue "playing it" (if you can actually play it, it does everything from itself!) I don't like the game for the following reasons:
-It detaches A LOT from the other games in terms of "gameplay", from a sidescrolling strategy game to Final Fantasy-like random encounters with AUTOMATIC battles where there is near to 0% of gameplay.
In the others you had a bigger role to play, not just sit still and watch the battle that's going on. That's just hilarious.
-The gems mechanic. I disliked it even in Epic War Saga, but I find that just a stupid way to try to make money from a simple game. Just don't! Return to make 100% free games like Epic War, Epic War 2 et cetera, for the sake of your series!
