Definitely too much time to answer. Players wait 11 seconds and then answer a fill in the blank exactly right. What!? It just came to them? Google rules.
I think to capture the audience's attention, there has to be something hard to strive for that makes them want to come back to achieve it. It's hard to say what that could be .... Achievements would be great. Maybe a rating system on each level to show how good your aim was so you can go back to try to score a better percentage of hits vs misses, percentage of head shots statistic, internal badges to the game when you complete certain mini tasks, a second run through, perhaps with a limited number of bullets per level but you can keep your skill levels where they were when you completed the first run through. Things that challenge you to improve even if you completed the game.
Regarding my earlier comment 5/28/13: sorry, I didn't mean the game was too easy to play. I was just noting that the game was a nice diversion but was lacking that intangible element that is so hard to define that makes you need to finish ... like having to read just one more chapter before bed when you have a book you love and want to see what happens next.

It's nice for a first game. It's just lacking that "it" factor that makes you want to get to the next level. I'm currently only up to level 19 and maybe it will change and it was fine to play but too easy for me to save and come back to rather than struggling to save because I wanted to see what was next.
Is there an ice hero with anything but melee only. Haven't seen one in forever. Also only getting access to 3 stores. Hint on how to get more. Had no problem on IV.
at Swampton on second time through wave 4/4 I performed a break level 3 and the screen went white and although the level was playable to completion, nothing was viewable except the white screen with damage popping up as it was done
There are achievements in the game!
