It's sad that most of the time, I'm just fooling around at half strength, trying to learn all the skills. Only when fighting bosses, I use my full power.
@creator44 Use Spirit Ward + Torment to take them out. You can also use Blood Bond. The mages' massive damage ensures both Blood Bond and Spirit Ward have massive effects.
*snore* looooooooong waiting time between battles. Just give me a finite amount of battles per day, not a system where I have to wait 45 minutes between two single battles. 2/5 until this is fixed.
This game gets easier as you progress, instead of harder. Once I unlocked the Golem, I didn't lose a single map. Just upgrade Wall to lvl 2 and the other upgrades to 1 for the Golem, and Fast aim lvl 2 + Bulls Eye lvl 1 for archers. Start spamming Workshops, Barracks and Strongholds in your towns, so that Golems cost only 12 to produce. Battles consist of spamming lots of Golems, the odd knight and lots of archers in the path of any fliers. Success guaranteed.
@Maximos12345 I am already hitting at 99%/95%/90% on all units except titans/final boss/things like that. Why should I bother using a weapon with meagre stats just to hit them?
Don't need cash items. I have an Air Rogue with a +4 Air slotted amulet. Most of my battles look like this:
1. Play Flash Bomb (stuns opponent, +1 Air chain)
2. Play Garotte (lots of damage, +1 Air chain)
3. Opponent can do nothing because it is stunned
4. Play Feint (ignore armour w/ next attack)
5. Air Combo, restore ~15 energy (which is more than I spent)
6. Normal attack (almost guaranteed double hit with 200 Speed)
7. Garotte triggers again.
8. Win
Is there a way to watch all the final scenes? I only had the chance to restore Dedai's eyesight, but I'd really like to see the other possible endings without going through the trouble of finishing the game again...
There is a nice glitch were a Skeletal mage within firing range of the enemy portal will not move any further. Unless your opponent is swarming, this single mage can hold off an attack for an arbitrary amount of time, or until you decide to send in a wave of high cost siege dudes.
Good old Red Alert days... Too bad this game doesn't have the Tesla Coil charging sound... I once built 100 Tesla Coils just for the sound of all of them charging...
