It's a 'nice' game, but I do have three main problems with it that keep me from calling it a 'good' game.
1) The pace is terrible slow, like others said that before.
2) It could be me but I am having difficulty staying 'on screen', this must be the game with the smallest playing area in this category, there is barely space to maneuver !
2b) From 2 follows that is difficult to anticipate any zombies, once they appear they are immediately near your guy.
3) Wouldn't it be nice if your portrait updated when you buy stuff ? Now it stays to be the same generic dude regardless of the equipment purchased.
The souls seem to be virtually useless, if all I can do with them is to 're-roll' my character (which I never do) I don't see any point in collecing them.
Looks like a nice game, but what really annoys me in those WASD-games is that I cannot change the controls, especially for people using another keyboard layout. I mean: you include french translations but for a typical french layout you would use ZQSD.
Very nice game, I just have two problems with it 1) the 'double school' advance comes at a moment you almost have all advances 2) after a while wood is completely useless as is gold (it has been told a treasure of +15k gold is buried deep under the ruins of my dynasty) besides those remarks which basically are that 'end game' is boring you did a nice job
I've always loved to play NSS1 and NSS2, but didn't like that you had to "play" yourself in the newer ones. This version makes a perfect balance between the two. Only played a bit so far, but already know I'm going to waste a lot of hours on this one. (Is there a version with this balance for PC as a download to take with me ?)
In the level where you have to destroy the "spawners", if you equip your dudes (except for the heavy) with bayonets and position them next to the spawner (base camping lol) they can easily kill all the fresh monsters, making it probably (i got bored, so just destroyed the things) very easy to gather xp and level up.
