Another Papa's Something game! YAY! I love this series and I think this game marks a new top in the games so far. It's the well known routine, but the new saucing and arranging system is a great addition to the idea. Keep up making Papa games, they never disappoint!

I really like this game and love your style, but a few things could be improved here:
1:Hit ratios seem off; I have a ratio of 90% and miss every 3rd attack...
2:Allow the player to give up a battle-it's tiring to watch your guys without legs being killed for 10 minutes :D
3:Balance out the costs of items and slaves(stat problem has already been adressed I see)
4:I know it may seem a little detail, but the music although quite nice is very very repetitive. Change it up a bit please :)

I think this is a great game on the way to being absolutely awesome! My problems with the game are the following: The Range of the placed unit should be shown. Sometimes I don't know if my swordman can reach enemies or if the archer would be better suited to the location. Also, it would be nice if more of the game's mechanics were explained: What are shells for, what are the grey buttons on the map for (Even if they only matter in future updates), and maybe tool tips if you hover over a unit (Saying "Soldier, Close Range" etc. or something like that. What I really like about the game are the graphics, I think they look wonderful, and the upgrading unit effect. They actually look much stronger which is nice, because in many games like these it's just the stats that change not the actual character. Oh and I just noticed that although the music is quite nice, it could be more than just one melody, wouldn't be as monotonous then. Will definitely check back!

But what I really wanted to say was - am I right in assuming that depending on the speed and volume level of the song the background and number of enemies changes?
Anyways, normally I don't like side-scrolling shooters at all, but as I can listen to good music in this one and it has cool upgrades it is a good one :-)
