I don't really like this diamond bonus thingy. If you start losing you will have a harder and harder time, and then you have to go back to way too easy levels just to get the diamonds. Also felt like I controlled the least important guy on the team, and with the exponential upgrade prices it didn't really feel like I had many choices in the game.
Not very forgiving game, one mistake and I had to start over the level. I got bored after a few tries on 1-X, because there was such a long uninteresting straight line at the start.
Start out playing, seems decent (3/5)
Play few times, seems good (4/5)
Play few more times, seems boring (3/5)
Continue playing, getting nowhere (2/5)
Realizes that the game was one of these that are designed to be repetitive and grindy to make you buy things in-game, but cannot find an in-game shop (confused, but still 2/5)
Looks up the app version, suspicions confirmed (1/5)
Funny/sad that wasn't until I was at the last level and read the comments I realized that you could HOLD the mouse button, not just spam it :S. No wonder the bosses felt so buggy when I fought them, I just spammed until I won. I think it made me motion sick by the way :/
Nice game, even if balancing could have been a little better imo ;P. I was really skeptical at first when I started it, because it looked like your ordinary money-grad-shit-game. Was really glad to see no connection to facebook, energy system or such.
Also, key to winning; get LOADS of bees :D
I have a real time taking this game serious when it has the standard facebook-invite-fwiendz-plix bar at the bottom, also the fact that ANYTHING you do is suggested to be shared. I want a card game where the designer has read up more on how to make a good game instead of the psychology of making people open their wallets...
Just wait for a while when our new game - Berserk Universe will be released on Kongregate. In BU you can rule your army and course of action depends on you.
Wow, that must have been the worst end screen I've ever seen. Basically saying you finished easy mode and have to go elsewhere to play the real game. Because of that it suddenly feels like you been tricked to watch an advertise, instead of finished a game...
30 sec delay because of ad blocker? I actually try turning it off, being annoyed by two flashing ads, turn it on again. I'm not going to buy products from annoying salesmen and I'm certainly not going to support a business model that generates money from bugging people.
Wow, actually managed to finish the game 03:20 before my brain started melting :p. Quite interesting how some music, "story" and nice graphics can make me play a game I've discarded several times before.
I'm starting to get quite tired of those energy games where you spend more time figuring out how they are trying to scam you and if you will be able to play the game in the long run instead of playing the game...
I liked it, even if it was a little slow sometimes. A suggestion would be to treat the mastermind shield as a health-bar in the interface instead of above him, sometimes things got a little messy and I couldn't see at what rate my shield was dropping. I dont know if I liked the idea that I could reset my upgrades, feels like that removes the point of upgrades a little. Also got frustrated a few times because I would click buildings instead of teleporters which lead to losing stars because I couldn't shut down the upgrade interface in time. Of course now it sounds like I'm negative towards the game, but I gave it 4/5 :P
Please... auto-saving is sort of standard in flash games :S. When looking for a walk-through how to get the bent metal thingy I accidentally pressed "back" in the browser at the wrong tab, thus erasing all my data. Manual saving only is not the best option for browser games as the game has no possibility to ask "Do you really wanna quit/dont you wanna save first?" as non-browser games do. I would also like to complain on the needle in the fence, first thing I had to check up...
One of the most beautiful games I've ever seen, even if the princesses are a bit tacky. Feels sad to give it 3/5 and quit maybe 60 % through because the game is repetitive and boring :(. A game should only be as long as its content, in this case it feels like the game has been stretched in the belief that longer games are better.
Wow how bored I am with games with energy systems. I want to play a game now, not 3 minutes each day for a year. I really hope you developers who choose this model earn A LOT of money and are not into the game making for fun, otherwise it's not worth ruining a game.
