Weird bug... If when you're equipping the hero you go to put something back into your inventory for a second and it doesn't quite fit, the item becomes inaccessible. You basically lose it. Irritating.
Being able to purchase some kind of powerup retrieval police dog or something would be nice. It's almost counterproductive to set traps too far from the altar since if zombies die off screen you cant really go to pick up the stuff they drop.
Also, guns should automatically reload at the start of each map. Sometimes you get screwed if you ran out of ammo on the previous level and you have to start the next one with nothing but your starter pistol.
Uh... sometimes when you attack too quickly, the melee characters will launch a fireball instead of attacking, and end up doing like half the damage they should. I don't know if this is a bug or if I just missed something explaining why it happens, but it's pretty irritating.
Eh... I played it but I wouldn't call it "comical" unless you're the kind of guy who pulls wings off of flies or burns ants with magnifying glasses. I just felt guilty the whole time.
Only complaint i have is that the controls keep switching depending on what side the boss is on. It gets really confusing. Hard enough to dodge everything on the screen without also having to learn which button is up every time...
Just a friendly suggestion from a player who really enjoyed your game -- If you're going to make a level full of mazes like "Absolute Zero," it would be helpful if you could clean up the hitbox of your ship, and its interaction with walls. Sometimes you can fly right through them, and other times walls take on this sort of magnetic property that basically kills you because you can't get away from them.
I don't know how long this game is, but some kind of autosave function would be nice. I accidentally refreshed my browser and now it's telling me I have to start over, and I'm not particularly inclined to do so.
I actually wish you guys would have gone a little further with it. Creating songs was a lot of fun but there's only so much you can do with single quarter notes and rests.
Decent game, but some of the abilities are incredibly overpowered. (Mana leak, anyone?) Would be nice if status effects had a duration.
Also, the music when you lose to a mage in the arena is REALLY LOUD... Significantly louder than any of the other sfx or music in the game. Otherwise fun. 4/5
