The full game was worth it. But I suggest the game might eventually be released for free to the public, and perhaps add additional content that remains premium. That additional content could be a hefty amount, but when players hear that it's the difference between a demo and a "full game" it becomes very discouraging :) Anyway great game ^^

Just get the traits which give you +100 gold for 50 mana per tree cut. It basically lets you farm more gold from cutting trees than what the monsters themselves give you; it will obviously be helpful to get some mana traits as well. I wouldn't worry about building crypts for mana though, as near the end of the harder levels, you'll be able to cut every single tree down and have more gold than you know what to do with. I imagine that it might be possible to achieve brilliant rank on every stage by level 15 with this setup, it's just so godly...

I relied solely on the magic hero from the beginning, and I found it to be a nice challenge, until I came to the energy absorption giants... I also had no clue that you could purchase such convenient, powerful items from shops. Although it was a neat feature indeed, the game was actually more fun without such a contrast in heroes and great items, or at least the ease at which you could acquire both. All in all, without items and relying on a single hero, the game had me playing for several days due to difficulty -- I basically leveled up the hero and gave it super powerful items and was finally able to overcome everything, except the absorption dudes!

idk why but i just cant get in the mood to play... it looks like it cant be taken seriously, which is fine if the goal is to be comedic, but more importantly i can't get around there being such limited controls on movement. it feels like im hardly in control of my own character with only being able to go forward and backward, so yeah that was kinda a downer. if you were to make another game taking these things more into account though, im sure i'd find it appealing :)

Temples' aura can hit cloaked ninjas, can they not? Also perhaps a very wide arsenal of crypts at the very end of a level could be a strategy to take them out when their cloak wears off. Rather than ninjas though, I dislike the other guys who dodge attacks; meteors often miss them and I find continuously that they have been more difficult to overcome. Eventually every level becomes easy once you've leveled up high enough though.

I found it disappointing that I beat the game so fast, though it's fun with the challenging levels at first, eventually you level up enough that you win without needing a very good strategy. Still a great game though, enough so that I beat it once, lost my saved data, and beat it again; a couple levels I cba to get brilliant on though, because I'm not one who cares so much for that unless there's some kind of special merit for it :P

Although I don't think it's a huge concern, the custom build has a bug where it seems you can get unlimited stats. When you add a level up to 15, it takes only 1 skill point, but when you delevel is back down to 14, you get TWO skill points back. If you repetitively add a skill up and down between 14 and 15, you keep gaining additional points.

My character is forcibly walking upwards. I don't have a stuck arrow key or anything on my keyboard, and it's only for this game that for whatever reason I'm locked to walking in the upward position. I can go side to side, but when I stop, my character just walks as far up as possible, and absolutely can't go back down. Am I the only one who keeps having these weird phenomena happening to me?

Oh and @ Dragonranger, the baron uses a move that saps his life to heal his focus. Best bet to beat him is use passive aggressive techniques, and he will eventually just kill himself by sapping his own life. I went with the psychological trait and used tyranny and will power a lot, set one of my guys to defensive and the other to the most aggressive trait, and that seemed to be all it took. The roach was probably the most difficult battle I had; I had to re-stat and go for haunt and confinement to stop it's bloody 20% healing per turn technique. At that point I still hadn't realized I could equip my other characters, so I used sacrifice to eat them and get +60% instinct lol. Then went back to my old build shortly after when that one stopped working.

lmao i had no idea you could equip other party members until i got that 4th chick with the blades. until then i just went all out on my main; though i only tried the medium difficulty, not heroic. i had actually started on heroic and hated the timer thing, but had i known you could actually equip other party members i think it would've been better. ima try with a new race this time :)

Hmmm it seems like a really fun game with endless hours of entertainment. My only concern so far is that it seems monsters appear at random for battles. Perhaps it's only my miscalculation, or been so up to the point I've made it to. There's nothing particularly wrong with that style, but for some reason I find it extremely annoying when I absolutely don't want to battle a monster, and yet I have a fight imposed on me. I'm a very hasty guy and try to skip as much stuff as possible, including intro's, instructions, whatever I don't feel like dedicating time on. Maybe I'm just one of a kind here :)

oh and i noticed there is a strong japanese influence in many of the mob's and npc's, though not surprising as japan practically invented rpgs, or at least they have produced many famous ones in the past:)

seems like a really nice game. i lost all my progress due to hitting the back button on my mouse by accident though... not blaming the game, but wow that is just gay. perhaps an auto save feature of some kind could prevent it, i know im not the only one who gets sucked into the game and doesnt have a good habit of saving regularly :)

Being able to freely swap skills is nice, but it also makes it very difficult to have a balanced game when they make such a significant impact on gameplay, and can be reallocated for any player to figure out the best strategy to win. It's not such a bad thing, but it can make the game much easier and less time consuming, though some people don't like a challenge I suppose :)

Oh and btw, the meteor spell kills those shadow goblins in 1 hit, and it's very wide :) I actually beat normal and hard mode without the spell, but it's seemingly impossible on epic without it lol. Costs 160 mana to throw a maxed one though, but that's what it takes without the dragon titan that damages them.

What's ridiculous is titans; I beat every single level on epic without using them. I simply farmed level 14 for about an hour because it was incredibly easy, fast, and paid loads. Then I maxed out time stop/invincibility/berserker/mana(each level gives 40 mana AND +20% regen) and some powerful units. I kinda think that levels should give considerably less gold when done consecutively, therefore players will be forced to try a diversity of tactics to progress. I think it's a huge pain to have to wait for the incredibly slow titan's to spawn, and then move them on top of that... I'm very impatient as you can tell :) Next to hero's, the were-tiger units are extremely impressive -- they run very fast, deal 235 damage/have 965hp, plus they attack fast too -- and best yet, have a normal spawn time which doesn't slow down like a hero's. At least I can say maxing them was much cheaper than trying to level a titan :)
