I love the random factor to the micromanagement. The way it prevents you from learning to time it perfectly keeps you on your toes. It could do with some balancing though. I'm at about 1 septillion angel investors and burning out the micromanagement usually gives me plenty of $ to afford the fine and still turn a profit. A harsher fine would make it more risky for the reward you can get.
Maybe add different tiers of adds, I.E.:
1) Banner add
2) Fake download button
3) Flashy GIF
4) HOT SINGLE NANS IN YOUR AREA
5) CONGRATULATIONS! you have won a $5.000.000.000.000 cruise ship off a Nigerian prince
6) Video adds with volume always on full
