an obstacle gimmick that tries to refresh the joys of battletoads lvl 3 by overlaying messy cues to delude the senses into frustrating deaths. All the noises by each gender are all the same so how you react comes down to guess when when either multiple men are in a line or hippolyta's own stupid grunts overlay [multi] cues of arrows all drawn over a mesh of visual filth that doesn't let the foreground pop out from the background all admist the irony that the character can actually "see" the difference going on ahead (cuz she calls stuff out) and yet can offer a more concrete distinction for herself on how to react accordingly. I'll praise the effort, but if the execution is intentional (muddle visual/sounds) then its a stupid gimmick
An improved presentation on an otherwise underwhelming game concept; I certainly care more about my craftsmanship when the game has a goal and a reason & reward to excel and not just getting more tips to go around into making more of the same dross-food. Slight quirk on the pike making imo; nobody is going to use three different pieces of disconnected wood to make that.
The idea isn't bad, but the execution is lacking. Some of these missions have such self-sabataging allies its mind-racking trying to win with them, esp in deathmatches where I have to race against their stupid suicide counts to win.
Frustrating gameplay, crappy story, even worse voice acting and topped off by obnoxious 'spoofs' and quotes. Best feature on this game is the 'skip' button -,-
