why does failing a mission take away money?!, it's an eh concept shoe horned in and makes it so you get punished for not being perfect and then can't further retry after because no money is given anyway
No it's not. Yes. It's made with the tutorial. That doesn't mean it's copy/pasted. Next version which I'm working on will, again, be made with the same tutorial but using my own models and models from the asset store. This was more or less a test to see if everything worked out in an environment that isn't the editor ^-^" Hope you won't mind to test the new version once I'm done with it?
i LOVE upgrading and whatnot because every time I do it is a chance to see how much less i need to like make steel, along with that after testing and seeing what is the cheapest most efficient build, the joy in scrapping area after area and remodeling and getting like double the income, then once i bought all upgrades below a million, scrapping everything, going to research and then barely making a profit just getting research, its so awesome!

And personally, the upgrade aspect sucks in this one, theres no innovation, as others have said, as well as, it doesn't upgrade in the same manner, making you WORK for everything, it is just so easy and passive, when you upgrade, take leftover cash and upgrade menu,

Can you make it easier to see when what is used?, i get the colored bullets but i am almost never actually watching the tower, just how fast it is destroying and whether im still doing enough damage to each of their healths. Maybe in the actual offensive UI make the respective bullets being used light up?, like a fire shot has been used and its crit button flares up red?, and this is just a little thing, not game necessary
