A lot of people complain about not being able to sell items initially, I don't blame them because I was really annoyed with it initially. Then I lost my first fight in a bad way because my cards just didn't work for the enemies. So when you think that it's annoying to not be able to sell your cards, it's really just a way to make sure that you don't get rid of cards that you might need and don't realize it. They're making you be prepared and that's pretty cool. Renown 7 might be a little longer to wait than it needs to be but I'm okay with it because it gives you time to get your own style down and try out different combos that you find.
Vovilla, I had issues with Only Bones the first time I encountered it, but just throw on a club and blast them with magic. If you can, grab an item with the acid attack that makes them discard armor.
If he ever posted anything useful or relevant to the game or community it would be a different matter. He constantly belittles people's opinions, ideas, and creations in the most blatant troll fashion.
I've heard repeatedly that this is a Pay-to-Play game, or a Pay-to-Win game. I don't get why because I've played this from the very beginning, took two months off in the summer, came back and I'm still competitive. Yes you can pay to accelerate your game, that's all you're doing though is accelerating. Yeah it takes longer to get everything from oak packs than from silver or gold but it can be done. It's Pay-to-Skip-Grind, far from Pay-to-Win.
I wish there was a way to set rules for your game. No called shots really ruins the game play for me because people will just full power into a cluster and somehow sink a ball.
I don't know anyone who likes playing slop.
Bahamaut, you've left several complaining comments here but none of them have gained any traction. Losing to Journeyman happens to a lot of people, sometimes the AI just gets really good starts and draws.
I don't know if you're just spamming whatever you can afford and not planning a strategy or you're just not that skilled at this game, or maybe it's something else. Either way, all you've succeeded in doing is getting down votes because complaining about something that's inherently part of a game like the RNG or simply complaining about content isn't something people in the community want to hear.
You have to remember that they are constantly updating and fixing problems along with creating new content. It's easier for them and for us if they get all the kinks worked out before launching it. Be patient and remember, you're waiting for a quality product, not the quantity.
I really enjoy this game. The play is solid and challenging enough to keep it interesting. Upgrading cards is a fun sense of achievement and helps you keep cards that you've grown attached to relevant.
With all that said, it's really hard for me to actually play this game. Energy systems are annoying to say the least, and once you run out you have to wait 15 minutes until you do anything else.
The fact that the packs increase in price wouldn't be so bad if the jump from tier to tier wasn't so big. 1500 jump from 2 to 3. It's not like you suddenly get double the money because you leveled up. If it went from 4500 to 5000 I could see it, but this is just unacceptable.
You took what could've been a solid game and I believe you shot it in the foot and released it to the world.
The long load time, while kind of inconvenient, is well worth it. The Kingdom Rush series is becoming one of the better TD franchises around. A fast forward button would be welcome and possibly a few more tower types but still a fantastic game.
While I don't agree that it's pay to win in this game I'd just like to say something to the people that keep insisting it is. Without people paying to play this game, it very likely wouldn't be around and you wouldn't be playing it. Yes they get money from advertising and the like, but they've got overhead to cover and people that pay for the game help the developers cover that.
One of my favorite parts was later on in the game when you're upgraded and powerful, but the first few enemies are still a challenge until you get some weapon upgrades, it keeps you actually trying on each level. And I have to say that I initially didn't like glenn, but after a few levels, I really fell in love with him.
I hate to make bad reviews about fun games, but when you have every upgrade except one for the best bike, and the computer STILL can close a 35m gap in about 2 seconds, I refuse to give it a good rating. it ruins the fun the first 2/3 of the game had. i don't know how hard it was before the update, but i still can't stand it.
Fun game and pretty original ad far as I know. Kind of short but the time you must've put into it makes me appreciate the game a lot. Can't wait for a second, hopefully with more levels.
Am I the only person who used Jackson to get the time trials for every level? Summon him, then while his dance is going, summon everyone else, for me it didn't use a bunch of time and worked like a charm.
