i think items that are equipped shouldn't show up in the inventory to not cause confusion and also i agree with ballzac's idea for only showing items that item that are equip-able by the character you are looking at right now + if so he can see
Major Bug! When i wanted to capture a city there was only the go button and when i pressed it i was stranted(i goed away from the city but the map showed me i was next to it).
