Hm, no auto-save killed this game for me. Game froze after a battle and lost some progress. Not a ton, but enough to put me off playing the game anymore.
I just watched a youtube video that said that I am made out of "Octillions of quantum particles" and I just went. Pah. Octillions.
Thank you adVenture capitalist for completely destroying my sense of scale in the universe.
Something tells me the offline mode is broken. I have 25 oil companies which should be generating around 6T every few hours. I went to bed last night, woke up today and opened up the game and found a mere 600B in funds. I don't actually think any offline calculations were done :(
The gameplay is really hard to understand. Racing seems very random and arbitrary. A few races in, even at near full energy, my squirrel would fail to place in the top 3 in even the first race. The perception of a complete lack of control over the races really puts me off from playing the game.
Let me make an analogy to a game like pokemon. It's like training your pokemon, beating the first few gyms, and then returning to the original starting area where all the pokemon are level 1 and finding yourself unable to beat them.
