Overall a decent game. The story is enticing, though I'm sad there's no deviation. You get maybe one real choice all game and it doesn't even effect the outcome. The combat is grindy, the dodge is nigh useless beyond that one time you HAVE to use it, and the game is FAR too short. Oh, and there's a "snag" notice that renders the page unusable when run from Chrome, so I can't even play through the feature without opening a secondary browser. 3/5
Okay... I typically only comment on games I like, or offer constructive criticism, but I'm making an exception here. This is -hands down- the worst game I have ever played. The anti-tank units lose to tanks. How much freaking sense does that make? My people think that well-defended positions are clearly worse than lying on the ground, and retreat is worse than a bullet to the face. I'm told war is hell. At least this game keeps that aspect realistic, by removing all possible fun I could've had.
Great game. Strange mixture of shooter, side scroller, and (at the end) almost Bullet Hell. Challenging, but fun.
@Zaics: You have to complete every mission before you can beat the final boss. To see your current mission list just hit pause or visit the mission tab in the store.
Alright, having just completed the hard badge, I have a few things to say. 1) SET YOUR STORAGE TO UNLIMITED. No lag after that. 2) I'd love a statistics page to see how many deaths I have on record. 3) A bestiary (celliary?) would be a neat way to familiarize us with the enemies. Maybe unlock entries with each type killed. 4) Music was cool, but unmutes with every new legion. 5)The cell death noises don't mute with the music. 6) That impossible badge? Hahahahaha... no.
For some reason this game is just not agreeing with my computer. I can run warframe with no lag whatsoever, but this flash gives me a new frame every second or so.
Pity. Seems like a fun game.
Tip for the Hard Badge: There is no time limit, nor do you get any benefit from quick waves. If you focus on the mobs that shoot into the bunker, you can just wait out the rest and keep healing/lobbing grenades. It also helps you enter boss fights with all your cooldowns ready. Good Luck!
Slight glitch: clicked to use a slam, but I hit a bomb at the same time. It let me use the bomb, but cancelled the slam and took away all the interfaces. My geek kept flying, and I could keep slamming, but I couldn't see how many slams I had, distance, speed, etc... AND I couldn't use rage. It corrected itself after the geek finally stopped his flight. ((Otherwise: REALLY fun game!))
Protip: Chests spawn randomly when entering a room. If you clear two rooms of monsters, you can hop between them indefinitely and spawn more and more chests (each without a single guardian).
For those of you having trouble with Hard Mode: Can you cross your eyes? If you can make your eyes cross and focus on the image in the center, the differences will light up like a Christmas tree. Also: you will get strange looks when you get to the horizontal image and have to go sideways. Happy Hunting!
Super quick guide! Finish tutorial, left (key), rightx2 (use door), rightx5 (use door). Right x2, flip switch. Go back to roach room, get handle. Rightx2, door, right, door, then rightx2. The speaker room! Jump up the bricks, through the window. Go leftx1 to find the ruined door. Go through & follow the path all the way past the bell & to the demon. Jump on his tail, then his back (record). Now go back to the ruined door. Left, drop off record, then rightx4 (ignore doors) to find pyramid. Get it. NOW go through the door under the wheels. Left ( record) & right to use it. Leftx2, use pyramid, jump up. Jump into the mouth & go rightx5 (record on the way). Bounce up left. Leave record, bounce right. Through door, grab another record, then bounce on up (key on the way). Land, go right, get record. Go leftx2, use key. Use record. Return, then leftx5, door, left, door, leftx5, & into the black door. Leave the last record & leave the room. Rightx5, door, right, door, right x2 & finish! Enjoy!
Hmm, I seem to be experiencing a pretty major glitch: Every time I earn a card, I get stuck with it on the screen and the collision animations start repeating. If (when) I crash, I start crawling along the ground but don't get returned to the upgrade screen. I have to refresh the screen to do anything.
