What's the point of wolves? Finished the game and still didn't get it. Sheeps give you power (and probably hp afterwards?), apples give you hp; wolves just... take sheeps away?
There is one more thing: as for the moment i'm finding some random people (engineers, soldiers, citizens, etc) and there are two options for each - send to camp or add to team. Since I can handle my own I send them to the camp, but it appears that if I need that engineer from the camp I need to manually enter the camp, talk to him in order to add him to my team, then lose a day and only then I can "use" this engineer for the upgrade. Am I doing something wrong? Because it lookes really wierd to upgrade stuff this way.
To be honest, I didn't like the mechanics of this game. Developer focuses strongly on the story and I enjoy them really much (in all three games), but storytelling isn't something that should have a huge replayability, because, well, story is good when you immerse in it. In this case there were no hints on what stats you will require (especially about agility being a trash) and although I made my Morale choices right, in almost all cases I was lacking some stat (though I tried leveling them evenly) and thus got the bad ending. So my next play was just spacing/escaping through the game, because I already know what is this all about and that wasn’t fun at all. Story is still good, but to my mind there could be more information provided to help you with the positive outcome, not just random luck.
Really repetetive and grinding game without any real rewards for your effort. Warrior's defense skills are pointless, because block mechanics are pretty much useless. Skilled everything on damage, stocked on 30+ healing potions and even with that it took me couple of evenings to complete the medium badge.
You should really try to get this game on Steam. I see a lot of crap from Kongregate becoming available on Steam, but good ones like this well-thought mining game are left behind. Just make sure you pour in some achievements ;] Since it's been coded on Unity there shouldn't be much problem to move it from platform to platform I assume, and you can make some cash to pay off the definately hard work put into this. Best of luck!
ive been looking into this... it costs money to submit it, and although i don't care about making money for this one, i would like to get some funds together so i can work on version 2 and have an optional multiplayer element. i am working on an additional game mode that will make this game even better. once i feel like i wouldn't be ripping people off, i do plan to release the stand alone for 5 bucks or so to help fund my future projects.
Nice game! But the Gatling Gun is very loud (at least when 3 equipped at once), can't hear music, surroundings, nothing! Had to go to menu and reduce the SFX volume.
This is bull$417. While the lasers is under AI control but being captured by me it still shoots my reinforcements that come to capture it. While lasers are under my control and enemy reinforcements come it just turns off the very first second they "land" on my laser. What is this?
The only real method to influence on the attitude of the dev is to give this game 1 star. Than it will grab the neccessary attention and maybe something will be done. Lags has absolutely nothing to do with how uber your PC is. I'm playing Battlefield on max available settings, so I'm confident that my PC should be "powerful" enough.
Remnants of Skystone is still in the database of BadgeMaster, but no longer available on Kong. Maybe we should create a list of such games and send it to the dev somehow =] ?
Well I got a positive score on Challenge 5 after plenty of tries in total. The key are upgraded nuclear plants and flamethrowers. The strategy I used in short: Start - 1 Nuclear plant, 1 Nuclear waste, 1 Factory, 1 Oil Plant. Then demolish the Coal Plant to start reducing smog (don't do it straight after mission starts, you will need dat extra energy that will accumulate at the first seconds). Make sure demolished trash is delivered into a Recycling Center, so you can have more resources. At Day 1 you should also build a Lab to upgrade the Nuclear Plant and a second Nuclear Plant as well as some defences (2-3 Flamethrowers near your base). Keep building flamethrowers in the middle of the assault and make sure you def your waste pit and powerplants, energy is crucial as well as keeping your Oil Plant alive starting from Day 2, so that it stores Oil / Gas and powers the flamethrowers. By this time smog should be pretty low, so build your defenses and something to increase the score.
You need a positive score to complete the challenge? Just completing is not enough, how come? All I did is defending my darn base in any way I could on that Challenge 5 and I even got the "Congratulations" from the blue zombie but yet no badge?
Finally pwned that darn cart on 5-2. So here are the levels where you will have to spend a life: 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-2 and 3-3. Absolutely all other levels can be completed with 0 lives wasting. The badge is not awarded for some reason tho, gonna find out why. Here's the pic http://take.ms/A8RJu.
