Some suggestions. We need the health of the villagers, since it's good to know what's going on. Harpies aren't very useful late game an upgrade would be useful. I suggest dropping x zombies they pick up. It would be a way to deliver zombies behind defenses. Some AI upgrades would be a nice upgrade, like making your zombies preferentially track soldiers or types of people, or making them randomly retarget, or making harpies avoid doctors. A quality of life fix to autobuild buildings would be appreciated late game. How to play should include info on trophies. The blood upgrade for brains could probably also be infinite or longer to extend the game lifespan.
Otherwise, awesomely fun game. I look forward to new upgrades and features and cool things to do. This is a great game, and if upgraded a bit I would definitely pay an indie price for it on steam, or buy a kred thing to support it.
Great game. Lots of buttons to press, lots of fun stuff.
Could do with more automation. Auto point assigning, up to a fixed value, along with auto builds and auto surrender at x wave.
C1- Easy. C2- just takes time and discipline. C3 even easier. C4 just takes discipline. C5 best to do after several infinities. 7 is easiest very late game, likewise C6, C8 just takes lots of sacrifices. C9 write down the steps, be careful, upgrade from bottom up. C10 is a midgame challenge. C11 is easy, C12 is late game. Potato needs C6 Zero deaths needs C3.
<3 thanks for an awesome game. I know you need to spend much time programming it to be fun for us and I appreciate that.
Have you considered letting us pick up petals from the museum? So if we want a particular type we've already gotten, allow us to buy it for a suitable price. That would make filling up the museum much easier.
Idea for offline gains. Set it up so that time offline accumulates ticks, 1/100 seconds. When online, upon pressing a button, expend ticks to increase all resource gain by a factor of 100.
Fun game, I definitely like it.
Could we have some way to quick upgrade the level of battles? Often the lower level battles are easy to defeat, and it'd take an hour or so of active play to get to ones that actually matter.
Elf upgrade is fun, looking forward to achievement bonuses.
Would be nice to see some two way trade, the orcs and humans giving something back to the empire. Some joint super battles, if for nothing other than battle rights.
How do you access the second guardian? From what I understand you pick something up at forest 125 and that leads to said guardian? I tried ascending but got nothing there. How do you reach them, and the extra upgrades?
You said that adding the final guardian would help with skill gains, yet the final guardian doesn't seem to help, and you reduced gems. What's up with that?
Since the exp and gold giving achievements are somewhat useless to most of us, how about making them give a perma base buff to your gold or exp? An extra thousand or ten would really speed up the early game.
While I assume Bearverly is an april fool pranks, your tweaks to the shop should ideally be the same. If you change the prices and values of items, please offer a refund of diamonds.
Issues so far.
The game eventually slows down absurdly when you start to require 15+ skills. Reseting does little, and there's not much sense of achievement. I suggest you make some girls possible to complete earlier so players can have some sense of fulfillment, and make the prestige more exponential/polynomial, so each achievement has a substantive effect. Some graphing and targets might be good. I'd suggest switching the time bonus to giving a straight cash bonus for jobs, since the game as it is clearly needs huge time shorteners for the hobbies and can't shorten 12 second cooldowns that much.
The dialogue for gifts is repetitive. Gifts should have unique messages.
More interactions would be helpful- girls boosting jobs, jobs boosting hobbies, hobbies boosting girls.
The tier 2 artwork is a bit dull, as does the tier 3 from what I can see. Tier 1 is hilarious, amusing scenarios and lots of interesting content. Later tiers seem to just have them posing in sexy poses.
Hey! Thanks for letting us know about the crazy slow down as it reaches lots of skills, that's crappy. We're dealing with all the memory and resource hog issues this weekend so hopefully we can improve that soon. I like your idea for the prestige stuff, and making it so gifts give unique messages etc. That's lot of good stuff you suggested! I know what you mean about the balance, it still needs a lot of polish and rework on our end. Girl boosts are coming soon! It's kind of necessary to give ways to make their part go faster. We just haven't got around to those features yet as we are focused more on bugs/getting the game to run for everyone first. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas!! Awesome stuff.
Fun seems to take a rather long time to level up.
Love the images, and the dialogue.
Would be fun to have a home where you could see all your achievements. Maybe slowly populate it with gifts from the girls.
Some explanations of resets would be good.
Some more random achievements would be nice, for certain combinations. It's good to have a bit of chaos.
With a bit more polish, I would buy this as a steam game.
Thank you! Wow, I'll be sure to tap you on the shoulder when we eventually do go on Steam. By then it'll be way more polished and balancing will be spruced up. I like your ideas for achievements... Random ones could be fun to put in as easter eggs.
Just wanna say, it's good to see such an involved developer who is working so hard to improve his game. Thanks for being awesome. Enjoying all the recent updates a lot, like events and item price caps. More stuff to click and do.
you're welcome :p I don't have too many small things in mind for the future other than balance changes, rather I'll focus on the bigger thing of an alternate survival mode
so far I haven't been able to find a fix, it seems firefox related and not code related. I'm looking for a fix but all I know of now is transferring the save to chrome, where it works fine.
It'd be nice to see some sort of endgame/ prestige mechanic. Say, mining silver/ gold/ platinum, minerals that had increasing frequency as you expanded further that let you buy interesting upgrades. Some sort of battle mechanic would be nice too. Say, have a soldier mechanic, where you have randomly dispersed villages which you can attack to gain permanent resources/ resources produced, which cost a certain number of soldiers to attack. Larger bases would be nice too- how about having more expensive versions of roads and such that had various buffs.
As it is, the regeneration speed also makes it fairly tricky to do any damage. It's not so much about how fast your regeneration is compared to theirs- you can kill them easily enough. It's about how long it takes to track and kill each enemy. Your units have no time to attack the buildings because they're handling an endless stream of enemies.
Right, agree completely. The siege engines along with some planned updates should improve this situation considerably. Working hard to get it into the game as soon as possible - thanks for your patience!
Have you filled up the special bar that appears in the forest zone?
