This is a fun game, but there are constantly frame drops no matter what I do preventing me from ever having a chance to perfect a song. The game freezes for half a second then catches up with it self and just completely skips the area where you can hit the notes. I had fun, but the frame drops make this game a 3/5 for me. It was so aggravating that I was being screwed by frames and not myself more often than not.
I opened this game up expecting some nice and happy game. Two seconds later I become both sad and determined because this kid has a dead dad, and I am the only one who can collect enough stars to help this sad child who just wants a dad. Then I feel even worse because the dad becomes a zombie. What I learned today is that falling stars are like genies. They're very rude.
This is a very relaxing fun game. My one criticism is that I wish there was some music to go along with the game. Just some nice slow quiet relaxing music in the background just to add some more depth to the experience. Also some general ambient noises. These few additions can really help push the game much further.
Thanks for that feedback! I hope to have different biomes in a full version that act as different stages basically. I'd like to go a fantasy route so maybe the 3rd biome you're fishing in a volcano. It would be cool to switch the music over as you traverse the world, so that when you hit the lava area you hear.........less relaxing music :)
The fact that you put obstacles so close to one another to where you have less than a second with your timing to be able to succeed is just bad design, and on top of that, many of the obstacles blend in with the background.
This is a very interesting concept that makes you really think about order and planning, but does not over do it in difficulty. This game has a perfect level of difficulty. Plus, the music is phenomenal. 5/5
This game is a phenomenal take and view on how slight behaviors could means so much more. I first got the missing ending and when I was leaving the room an said to May, "See ya later." and she replied "Goodbye" I wanted to stay by her side. I knew then what was coming. She seemed so nice then you imeadiatley lose her with that ending. Even though you only knew her for just a few minutes, you instantly formed a connection. Seeing her body hanging there, it was horrifying, but the note at the end of the hope ending is magical. I wish I could rate the beautiful game a 10/5, but the rating only allowed me 5/5. Fantastic job.
In the RGB value level, it is easy to have your mouse get locked onto a scroll bar. If your mouse left the bubble on the bar, it would become stuck to your bar and you would have to click it again to get free. I don't know if you can fix that, but if you can please do. It is just a slight inconvience in the final level. Overall, I'd give this game a 10/10 just like I did the others.
I don't know why I subjected myself to all twenty levels of the rage. I knew there were no achievements, so the why did I do it? It was fun though... not really, just aggravating.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this game and would love to see a sequel where she goes back for her dad and you don't just have to leave the temple in a different way, but also traverse the world.
On the level before rise I got stuck because I accidentally pushed the block the wrong way because I walked past it. So you may want to raise the roof in that hall way or something along those lines.
