So the build up to the soft reset takes WAY too long compared to other objectives. The monsters I'm killing give 50q and I need ~10Q to get there (assuming a derived 7% increase on price per level) so it's gonna take me like 200,000 kills to get there. That's not really an acceptable number of kills. And yeah, the gold I'm taking in will get slightly higher so the 200k number isn't completely accurate, but it IS a good estimate and a wholly unpleasant one.
Hi Zane, We're happy with the time it takes to do the first reset, but will keep an eye on it and may think about changing. Subsequent resets do speed up. Thanks for the feedback.
This game does not explain the prestige system very well: the upgrades you purchase in the Prestige tab deduct from your current EXP, but if you purchase an upgrade and then reset, you will get that EXP back (and the upgrade will be available to buy again). This is significant because if you purchase something that drops you below the threshold for a certain prestige tier, it drops you down, even if your EXP "On Reset" is still in that range. So if you're at 10.5k exp, and you spend 1k of it on an upgrade, you drop from Silver II to Silver I, but you can reset back to 10.5k anytime.
Making money disappear, lack of an area-clearing ability, lack of interesting upgrades, high rate of enemy appearance and weak audio make this a dull and sometimes painful experience. Don't know how anyone was ever expected to get a perfect score after around zone 5.
Game is boring and glitchy are doesn't award badges. Why is Kongregate featuring awful games like this? We should be adding badges to the cream of the crop and featuring those.
Love the art style, got all the badges. 5/5.
Protip: Use the fatty's special block to get the 30 damage badge. It helps a lot with the Atsuetsuken rip-off that Joshua has.
