(Don't know how to respond to a post so I write a new one) *spoiler alert*? I opened the robot with the crowbar and got the hand, then went back to the hideout without entering the monkeylab. In my hideout i switched the hand for a bolt in my backpack. I thought that the hand would appear in my backpack but it just vanished. If I go back to the robot it's empty.
Could You please bring some more details?
Did You unlocked the computer within hand? (if so, the hand will be removed constantly)
But if You just missed it somewhere that's sounds like a bug and should be fixed!
I'm talking to the first ghost at the station but after that my character still says I'm going the wrong way and should get back to the station. What am I missing?
This is a glitch that I personally have never experienced - could you send me as many details as you can, this is very game breaking - browser type, any steps you might have took that where unusual and so on

So, at the hideout equipment screen You can't see the hand in the list of available items, right? That's sounds like a bug, duh :(
