Because they aren’t the problem. Rather, the only one with any problem is you.

Jul 22, 2014 9:33am PLEASE stop spamming the same comment on War of Omens. If you don’t want to increase the size of the community and the variety of people playing then why are you playing?

I don’t see how you could get that from my comment. The developers have made a plea to the community to go to another website and vote for their game. I have the choice of not going to that website and still playing the game. However, in the manner that the developers have implemented their plea I am being annoyed in game. I seriously doubt that the developers intended this to happen and so I took the time to make a comment about it. In less then 1 hour my original comment received enough negative votes to be placed under the viewing threshhold. You are now seeing the venomous outcome of that original down vote that should have never happened. This entire incident reminds me of the time that a game developer did not take kindly to a request from me for a mute button. He felt that if I wanted to turn off the sound I should just mute my flash player. The problem with that was that I listen to pandora on a separate tab and if you mute flash player in 1 tab you end up muting flash in all tabs. I feel like I am being bullied into clicking on the link in War of Omens in this case and that I should have a chance to voice my annoyance with what the developer has done. I fully understand that they may choose not to make any changes, which will drive me away from the game. But I don’t think the community should get to choose to silence me before the developers can hear what I have to say, which is what has happened. I don’t see how you can say I will not listen to reason. The length of the conversation we are having right now is proof that I am willing to listen. show less
