MrDarek, If I understand correctly it isn't exactly telling you it is wrong, it is telling you it doesn't work there with what you have. You could eventually get the right solution by mucking around with it but it's not like it is telling you which number goes in which square.
Fun game. I'm going to guess that it wasn't originally done in English though.. Some work on the translations would greatly improve the interface. That being said, I like the 'cute' approach and everything just seemed to fit together nicely.
Hm.. I agree that the idea is good.
I didn't actually get a sense of being on the beat being beneficial. Perhaps if there was some sort of direct response to being on time? Or maybe a metronome to encourage the concept.
Interesting.. There are still a few bugs that need fixing but the concept works.
The shot counter doesn't count for me (accuracy = infinity as a result)
The % hit doesn't seem to be accurate either. I had ~60/120 and it said I had 30%.
A bit more work and this could turn into something fun to play. It actually kept my attention for longer than I expected it to.
This seems reasonably well put together. I think having some sound, particularly for interaction with objects, could really help. Also, unless that computer is supposed to be a Mac, there should be a tower somewhere. I've used the pliers, the key, and the screwdriver.
Aside from that, I'm stuck. I have all but the item that goes in the second slot from the right and can't seem to do anything else.
jagrog, I think the purpose is to flag tiles that you know are useless. i.e. you have found all of the "mines" next to a given tile but still have unclicked spaces.
Something else: As far as I know there is almost no reason to not use the upgraded fire skill. Could there at least be an option to have it default on? I find it awkward to have to hold shift the whole time I'm jumping around.
I really enjoyed the level design and the concept.
I do have a few issues with this: The mouse controls interrupt the flow of the game, very awkward. The timer keeps running even when paused/menu. There also needs to be a way to reset the timer on a level other than navigating to the level select screen and back.
It is a great concept but there is one thing that particularly drives me crazy. I want to be able to order the skills on the bar the way I want instead of in the order I bought them.
Pretty good for gameplay but I had a few issues: When I had both types of sound off, the fountain still made (a lot) of noise. I also haven't gotten the badges even though I finished both paths. I'll check back later for that one though.
The timing required for some levels is WAY to precise!!! I managed but... ARGH! Cute game, nice concept, fun music. I would love it if the timing was a little looser though.
