Very enjoyable and well animated game. I liked the zombies with blood drips. However, not very challenging. I found that the only way to die is to stand still. Felt like I was playing Kite of the Zombies in the mid game and Dodgelaser at the end. I had a half-max miningun by day 8 or 9. I did not actually have to move to beat the final boss because its attack took so long. Perhaps its arm cannon could be a paralysis ray in future builds.
TLDR, I played to the end and enjoyed myself thoroughly for 20 minutes.
Spec Ops is way too OP for a starting PC. Add on Tesla Set for game wreckage. Never did find a necklace, but the bow and ring were enough. I was wiping out Hard just by walking between chests, no firing. Started needing to pay attention around 24, but even thereafter I wiped a few bosses on chain reactions before I entered the room. Made it to level 30, but the Demon Lord won't give me a portal to progress. A pleasant enough diversion.
It is a refinement of the original, but still fun. There's a lot of apparent versatility, but the mechanics don't change. Delay spells and bow for clean up. I hardly touched fire. I would note that most of the spells go where you target. So, if your gargoyle is always bombing the same spot, try moving your cursor to where you want it to bomb and remember to compensate for its fly-in time.
