I don't know the cause, but the game seems to be lagging incredibly badly even tho it was working perfectly fine yesterday, everything is moving at a crawl at 2-3x slower!
Hi! It is due to the ping. Yes, the game is server-side. There are good and bad sides in this solution:
GOOD - No one can cheat with scores, because the game is totally on the server and players just pass control actions to it.
BAD - ping and connection issues affect on game experience.
We have launched several servers (five) in different locations, but we don't have enough resources to cover all countries. Two of the most wanted locations are South America and South Africa, but it is quite hard to launch server there (too few datacenters to select from, prices are big, payment systems not clear).
There's just so many small QOL improvements that are barely noticable, not deselecting ship placement when moved outside fleet boundary, shorter autofight timer vs AI, nicer leaderboards, the new equipment menu (which is amazing btw), the tips are awesome (but they scroll by too fast in the pvp load screen), the way frigates fire changed, but things seem to have a lot less lag now and it makes more sense honestly as it is now, Just so many small changes but the game already is starting to feel a lot more polished!
I love how this game is shaping up, the new offensive and defensive upgrades and adjustments to the existing ones really are helping to balance the game out! I also greatly appreciate the extra fleet slot! The dev is doing an amazing job keeping current with the community and the speed with which the suggestions become reality is honestly really amazing! Keep it up :3
Thanks, really, thanks. I'm putting in my best efforts to make the game more and more enjoyable while following players' requests. I'm still giving the top priority to polish rather than adding new features and if the games will stay alive like I will keep adding more and more stuff!
I managed to stack 65 ships in 2 tiles, the glitch seems to be related to overlapping squadron hitboxes and it's a very slow process as you have to start a fight after every time you add a ship. https://imgur.com/GKo6A7c

The hangar really needs an editor, like maybe allow click and drag ships or a clear tile tool? having to clear my formation every time I wanna move one ship is a pain
if you can get both splash types on a knight it will just clear out the last floors honestly, but splash on pawns + cantrips are also incredibly useful. Honestly I never upgraded anything but knights and pawns
