This is an amazing flash (as in short) RPG. I love these 5 minute RPG things because they're exactly the right length. They know they don't have hundreds of hours of gameplay to offer, but more importantly, they know that's okay. Great Job 10/10 Would be an old man again :D
Good game. As of right now, I see no reason to get the elemental damage spells. I can't seem to re-put them on my hotkeys after I leave the cave. Still a good game though.
You at least need two things to play this game: Unity3D Web Player plugin installed and a supported web browser for it. Chrome is ok, just make sure you have the plugin. Perhaps your hardware? Have you tried another machines?
I have a bug report. (Why do I seem to break every game I play?) Sometimes, fire doesn't turn off for me, so I think it's safe and then I die. It's been an annoyance, but it doesn't happen often, so I think I'll be able to finish the game in spite of it. I'm on Google Chrome (if that makes a difference.)
Hey, I just discovered what I assume is a bug. If you quit during a wave, it kicks you back to the screen after a wave is completed. I had done absolutely nothing, yet I gained 500 money. I thought it might be a fluke, so I did it again. Again, I got free money. I like that I got money for killing guys if I died (that's what I assume it's for), but I could totally cheat right now and max my upgrades. Just throwing that out there.
I really enjoyed this game. The upgrade system was great and I liked how it incorporated the Kongpanions. One thought though. I had bought all upgrades after 35 launches. It seems a little easy.
Update to last post: Okay, so I tried resetting to default zoom and then getting into the game, and it worked perfectly. Sorry about the non-necessary? bug report.
I have this really strange bug. If the screen is zoomed in differently than normal (I'm usually zoomed in farther to see my screen better) than everything goes rather funky. The menus get zoomed in real tight in some places. And if you zoom in far enough, the boss is stuck in a spot where he can't hit you but you can wail on him as much as you want. You can't collect any coins but hey ... you know ... it works. Just to let you know, I'm on firefox (if that makes a difference.) Also, one note about the gameplay itself, the combo counter goes to 99 then when it goes up to 100 it instead goes back to zero. I must have had like a 700 combo but I had to count it myself because every 100 rolled back to zero. I hope aLL this helps.
If I could vote Higher than 5/5 I would. This game epitomizes everything I want to do with my writing. Make people think and explore our world by exploring a different one. 5,000,000/5 for me guys. Fantastic Job!
Okay, so far a great game. Except I broke it. (I seem to have a knack for that.) I somehow punched Terry Knucklepint (the guy you have to box) through the wall. Then I refreshed the page and tried to fight him again and he teleported back behind the wall. I have no clue what to do now.
I think the game is wonderful. I really like the mechanics. Sarah's controls are tight and work well, even when you can't remember which way gravity is supposed to be going. The premise is sound. The one thing that I don't like is the way the gamepad controls are set up. The dash and jump keys should be next to each other for ease of platforming. And the camera controls feel backwards. (on my gamepad up and down move the camera left and right.) Other than that, fantastic game. Good built in keyboard and game controls for the most part. A great idea. And well thought out puzzles. 9/10
