There's definitely a good game here but it really needs to be sped up. Gaining prestige points is VERY slow and doesn't feel tied to session progress at all.
how do the boosts work? thing pops up and that's your cue to click the sector as much as possible in a short amount of time...I've only seen it trigger once though; does it require a certain amount of upgrades first or is it just a really rare event? there's no way to go back to see the tutorials, so now i don't know their frequency in how they appear.
It sounds like what you're describing is what we call Breakthroughs. Those happen periodically between a range of 4 and 16 minutes. When the click time event for a breakthrough is over you'll see a pop-up in the top right corner telling you how long until the next Breakthrough occurs.
Some solid ideas here, but there really needs to be a way to see how much progress is needed to hit the next specialist. Which, on that note, takes WAY TOO LONG to achieve. The tutorial recommends 40, the specialist reassignment screen recommends 15 minimum, and I only had 7 after coming back a day later. By this math, I'd have to let it sit for a little over two days at minimum before getting my specialists - six days going by the tutorial! I know this is an idle game, but most games don't have such a high wall before getting your first functional prestige tier.
Given all of the feedback we're receiving about early game progression we're definitely going to look over the numbers again. Thank you for letting us know how you feel!
needs like. a Power clicker. gaining Power relies on high BPS, which after a certain point can only be raised by....spending high amounts of Power. it becomes this tedious waiting game of breaking through one brick wall only to immediately hit another. there are very few strings of smooth, constant progress, which most good idle games have.
cannot for the life of me see any difference when using the BUPC EFFECT boost. doesn't matter where i'm at or how big the boost, i don't see any change in my building ability.
on that note, this game could REALLY use some tooltips explaining what the different boosts do, if you're going to use abreviations so much
For how easy it is to unlock the prestige upgrades, they are VERY expensive. I'd need to buy them in order to have a chance at ever earning enough to buy them.
What does the bubble power up do?? It seems to turn my shots into a stream of bubbles that don't hit anything or do any damage, and I can't really avoid it as the powerups all kind of look alike
It really gets in the way of your gameplay because it wastes your time and money. You can avoid it by noticing that its bottom is red and the others are green. This was not very well explained, as many people ask me. I apologize for this and promise to improve next time. Thanks.
Could we get an upgrade for spending the game currency? The attributes give buffs to collecting it, but spending it/leveling active games seems to have no change. It's getting to the point where I will never be able to collect those idle gains because it's accumulating faster than I can spend it. Maybe attributes can buff currency gain speed as well as speed for spending it while a game is active?
Dovetailing off the difficulty in collecting buildings/slow energy regen, maybe the Short Break space could act counter to the Prison space? If the prison temporarily slows energy regen, maybe the short break could temporarily boost it, making it easier to move around the board and level the buildings.
I think there needs to be a way to either improve energy regen (even temporarily), a way to buy building levels, or a way to carry over building levels after prestige as hitting the building level trials is soooooooo sloooooooow and tedious.
Seems odd that the upgrades for the different balls cost less than the balls themselves. i.e., you can afford the blue power upgrade looooong before you can afford your first blue ball.
