I believe speakers/headphones count as external hardware. In fact, I would label everything except what you need to run this game (web browser, flash) as external.
PS - posting "first" didn't work? who would have thought?!
Despite my reaching the highest possible level within the enforcer's guild, they still insist on treating me like a civilian, inspecting my loot wherever I go. Also, I feel like enemies should have a better sense of when they're outclassed (like when I have a ship and 4 friends and they're a foot soldier)
Agree with Punx - it's very hard to tell where you are in relation to enemies (esp. with bosses) and how fast/which direction you are going - a scrolling background would help a lot.
I didn't notice the tabs in the hallway until I read your description. On a more general not, I'd like to see a more Myst-like game (ie lots of problem-solving) than a point-and-click adventure. Is it difficult to save state when switching between rooms?
cool game - a little easy (AI played hypermobility on a fortress 3 times in a row lol) but multiplayer would be more of a challenge. One bug: a race condition I believe occured when I tried to play a multi-energy (the red artillery) card immediately after "Forced Silence" expired: The "choose additional energy" box stayed up throughout the rest of the game and I had to reload the page to get rid of it. Obviously not going to happen 99.9% of the time, but it's there. All in all a fun game - well done!
haha nice ending. good game, reminds me a lot of N but less twitchy. controls are a bit sensitive, and it gets hard to see the main character sometimes - whose bright idea was it to set part of the game in hell, when the character you're controlling is red?! probly just sadistic devs...yarr.
