I like the idea, but the interface is difficult to use. We should be able to view our existing routes in a table, and sort them by the different values (# of flights, % full, level of service, etc.). Also, when you select a hub to build a new route, the cities to which you already have routes shouldn't be clickable, and all the other cities should be temporarily larger to make them easier to click.
I would like the ability to sell things to the shop also, even at a large penalty. I have so much useless bronze in my inventory that I'd be willing to trade it for even one enchanted grip.
To collect 15 rings in day 1: Jump a lot and don't worry about shooting or dying.
For the level 7 goal: Get 200 windfall kills, does that mean 200 cumulatively or 200 in a single windfall?
I like it better than Pixelvader or Frantic. Having swarms of tiny missiles instead of a few powerful ones is a lot of fun, and I love being able to redistribute the upgrade points and try new abilities. 5/5
I just got the 3-day badge also. I started with 2 height and 1 fuel. I had an amazing first day and got 7k, which I put into full radar, full fuel sucker, and 2 E-rockets. Followed ccguy's advice to concentrate on fuel and height, and divided the remainder evenly among them. Got 20K on the first day without much effort, and bought 2 more e-rockets and all the height I could afford. I reached the moon in a couple bounces without using any rockets, and then just rocketed to mars.
It took me dozens of tries to get such a good first day though. My previous best was 2k, and I usually got $100 or so. Just keep hitting refresh and don't get discouraged.
I really like the mousewheel control, but the loop needs to be fixed. Do that and add an incentive to finish each level, like an upgrade, and this will be really fun.
Good game, and I liked the original GemCraft too. However, my saved game gets cleared every time I close the browser, even if I don't clear my cookies or cache. This means I would need to beat the game in one sitting to get the badges, and that's just ridiculous. -2 for that, and -1 for the locked content. 2/5
I've not played a matching game with this twist before. I like it but it could benefit from a brief introduction, and some bonuses (such as for clearing the board in fewer than x clicks).
I really like this graphical style. It tells you what you need to know without being flashy, and you added lots of nice details (like changing the ship's outline when different weapons are equipped). I agree that the missles are not effective enough for the price, and the game could be longer, but you've done a very good job with everything so far.
