In the rain/fire/gore boss battle, if you kill the bosses, but a hammer still hits you, you die but then the game just sits there forcing you to restart
What platformer game would be complete without the old infuriating "Make a jump on platform, then get knocked off by an enemy you couldnt see into the bottomless pit." What this? It can happen in level 1? Brilliant!
Wow, not a bad concept, but might be a good idea to a) have the boss be able to take a few hits B) Have the boss shoot at you C) make you actually want play again
Btw, I killed the cobossus 6 times on survival while reading over the comments to you game
Wow, You can get fully upgraded just be retreating off any mission repeatedly at no disadvantage. Otherwise a pretty fun game.
I think you need a way to either destroy or repair your drones, that was all your forces arent suddenly wiped out. Better or more main weapons, and the ability to switch them between missions would be a nice added feature. Cant wait for the sequel.
1/5 after trying forever to beat level 18, I finally gave in and used the walk-through. Only problem is that it was something I tried already. Even after lining them up exactly like in the walk-through, I still couldnt beat the level.
2/5 I really like the concept for this game, but suffers mostly from the same problem from earlier editions. You spend most of your time shooting at enemies off screen, and accidentally switching screens while dodging enemy bullets. The accidental switching screens is made worse by the fact that there are enemies that bump you around, causing you to lose and bubbles you havent collected from the offscreen enemies you already killed. Plus you know, the lag
1/5, This game shines in showing everything that is wrong from the old NES days. Sloppy play control, annoying jumps, Repetitive Stages, Way too easy bosses, Useless Characters (yeah I want to play something that cant attack) Worthless Attacks (cause you want an attack that randomly changes your character) No descriptions (WTF does haste do)
You can just hear the AVGN calling out these flaws as you are playing it.
2/5 It was fun at first, but when it comes down to it, the game is mostly luck. Hope the boss moves away from the guards, hope the guards leave you openings. Hope the exit spawns near you. Too much randomness not enough strategy. Worst is when you are on alert and the guards catch you through your invisibility, its almost like the ability only works 50% of the time.
This feels like a crappy knock off of what pinball really is. The ball moves around without a sense of physics. Its lacks skill shots, allows you to hit the ball back to the plunger (huge waste of time and annoyance) no way to earn extra balls and most importantly doesnt have the one thing that makes pinball so much fun MULTIBALL!!!!
The levels are lackluster and boring, the bumpers hit the ball up no matter which direction it comes from and even if it barely hits it. It feels like a game where someone was described what pinball is like without even playing it.
