Lack of female gender option is very depressing. All my excitement over a new Monster's Den game died when I saw it lacked female party members. Even if there were some that were always male and some always female (which is annoying, yes, but at least there'd be SOME females... even if traditional game logic says the girls would be the clerics and the mages) I'd be happy.
