Melee:
1) Upon leveling up, allocate 2 points to strength, and 2 points to stamina. A balanced fighter is more effective on later levels than a strength pure. 2) Look to weapons with strength and stamina bonuses, but as a general rule, a weapon with a higher damage is better than a weapon with a high strength bonus. 3) Choose to be either a werewolf fighter or a vampire fighter for healing/leeching. 4) Keep spells you like, even if you focus on melee, bolt is highly effective(100+ damage) with 10 intel.
I love this game.. IF you just follow up with the upgrades you have mentioned and maybe a few more, this can easily be one of the highest ranked games on kong.
It's Protector gone turnbased Dungeon RPG great concept lots of thought and work went into it. Just too many Dungeons and therefore glacial advancement.
In-level tower upgrades would be cool, since i often find myself with lots of excess money after getting an adequate set-up on higher levels, and nothing to spend it on. You could also think about traps/bombs with a one-time effect or damage for the stronger enemies that have a lower cost than towers.
Very good game originally, and love the fact that you've been working so hard to make it better, and actually using our suggestions. 5/5 before the updates, and if i could give it more now, i would.
Definitely needs a sell tower/barricade button, or even a destroy if you dont want to go as far as sell.
More levels would be great since there isnt a level cap anymore.
Love the skill trees, just like from Dont Touch My Gems and Protector. I hate being constrained to one skill tree.
1 Sniper, 2 Electro, another Sniper, 2 Heat ray. Upgrade fully before moving down the list.
After all upgraded, build Damage/Range towers around them as you see fit.
Fully upgrade Reload skill, then Range, then Damage.
Guaranteed Victory.
Being totally honest, the idea of this game was cool. . which is why i bothered to click it. But it needs a lot of work. It feels like you just decided to make a game, then put it on here without even testing it.
1 of 2 things need to be fixed to make this game bearable:
1) We should be able to shoot those dumb asses while they're walking to the bus.
or
2) Reduce cost of repair
Because with things how they are now.. You basically wait for the guys to shoot, then you get to shoot. . Then you spend your whole wad on repairs and ammo.
First off, shop system would ruin the classic shooter-upgrade feeling.
Great game, only thing id ask is either 1 of these: 1) More upgrades, maybe different types, or 2) make stars stack, so when you get level 10 at stage 3, you wont lose 1-2 upgrade levels on a hard wave.
Solid 5/5, nice shooter.
Well, the game started out 5/5, good game play and good upgrade trees/skills, then, after about the 3rd battle in a row of rinse and repeat, it got boring. 3/5.
I am not a fan of White castle, but i do feel the need to try a "chicken ring".
Nothing wrong with a little advertisement, i wish more developers & distributors would do it.
