1948: Fly straight on, dropping gas, until all smaller planes are dead. Then circle back to the flying wing. Approach from behind slowly, then turn away before getting to close. Rinse, repeat, have patience, and get that badge.
Epic bosses: have enough mana stored to let them go round twice. Have empty tower(s) along path to switch you biggest gems to maximise efficiency. Gem bomb the boss finally.
Slick and smooth. Unit graphics are better than in the previous version.
Some kind of way for units to better themselves (experience, bought improvements, etc) would be good.
Challenges are annoying because they're too luck-based - luck on what cards you get and which the opponent gets.
For instance, on Challenge 13 you lose if you go insane. There's a card which causes your opponent to go insane. One-card-death is not nice.
Lacks staying power, which is sad, because it's got potential to be a fun game.
a) Too much luck involved in managing to infect Madagascar and sometimes Japan, Greenland, Peru.
b) Set up disease in first 3 minutes, crank up speed, wait, buy symptoms. You either win or lose, but there's no need to react further.
Double MachineGun and save the upgrades until you can get DamageUpgrade for 10 points. As soon as you can get a Sniper and then a damage buffer. 4th slot is optional, but I quite like the mines as they're cheap and I don't need to worry about them
