This is a very good game. It needs a lot of polish. I would love to see something like this on steam as an early access for 2-5 dollars with constant updates by the developer.
Their is another game right now that is employing the same system on K, they're both great, they're both basically idle D&D chose our own adventure. There is a market for it. Just tighten it all up based off of the comments a bit.
This game is a bit hard to discern the functions of it from, which it ok, but I had to restart it three times before I really got it which removes me from my character a bit. Also throw it hover tool tips for stat use please or equipment comparison. Also I'm still not sure deep into the game how skill points are gained. It's either through leveling skills or one time clearing maps or hitting hurdles in the story, but they are the thing that dictate the flow of the game at it should be a more explained and controlled structure if that's what you want to accomplish.
Watching the people on the edge of cluster is interesting too, on average they'll achieve a greater level of happiness yet a fair amount will still gravitate back to the center of the population cluster at one point or another, decrease their happiness accumulation. Almost as if gravity itself were a masochistic force.
Oh and set that against a time line of collected resources, since it correlates to technological adaption increasing resource abundance. Total cultural ecological theory. Society adaptation to environment and effect on society. Greater density is brought about through adaptation causing an increase in resources.
You should add a statistics page for amount of people dead at what happiness level. Even something added onto that like their geographical position and population density. It's probably an accurate depiction of urban decay through population density in a marginal environment.
This game has a lot of potential. As others have said, add hotkeys and increase the inventory. The latter isn't so important though.
My major complaint, aside from glitched tiles is the speed of the game. The walking speed and the regeneration speed need to be increased so the game is less waiting to play and more playing. It's very frustrating because I almost have to play this as a passive game which it shouldn't be.
Great game, but please improve it.
This game is too easy. It needs a complete reset function and increased unit difficulty as the game progresses. The stat bonuses are too powerful in this case.
