Really nice game! My only suggestions would be:
1)Make the "Shields" tab more noticeable. I was halfway through the first world before I realized it was there.
2)Maybe hide an item somewhere in the boss levels that refills your health so you can pick it up and then head into the boss fight with full health.
Great game, as others have said. The only thing I would recommend is adding two keys other than Z and X to rotate for those of us who prefer to use WASD over the arrow keys. I started out trying to use W, A, S, D, Z, and X all at once but it was too difficult, so I had to switch over.
Really good idea for this game, but there are a few frustrations. It's obviously your game and you are in control but here's my personal input to think about: There aren't enough checkpoints. I think you should do the checkpoints behind the scenes and let the big yellow vats do something else. It sucks having to complete pretty tough platforming area 100 times because there is an even tougher problem after it. I would like to see a checkpoint at each new challenge, unless portals need to be created at previous challenges. Perhaps you could allow the player to get hit 2 or 3 times from shooting enemies, instead of instant death, and then the yellow vats could be used to refill health. Just some ideas. Thanks for the game.
Your game needs some work. This sounds like it could be a very fun game, but the way it is currently set up is flawed. I would make the monsters cost more to buy, but make them come out instantly when the player presses the button so it is possible to zerg rush if you build up enough cash. The way it is now, once the towers reach a certain level of powerful you can't get anyone thorugh if if you spam turtles and planes out of every entrance. You are limiting the player too much by having the monsters come out one at a time. That's my opinion anyway. Thanks for the game.
@titan3 Use first wheel to knock the orange onto the moving platform, and the second one to hit the left bomb. Then wait until the orange gets pushed off the platform on his own and use the next wheel to hit the right bomb. He should be stuck in between one wooden rectangle and a barrel. Now you can drop the last rectangle on top.
To help you guys out that can't beat level 11, I have found 2 ways that aren't too tough: (1) Drop the rectangle and barrel side by side to creatre a bridge to the "cannon", use one wheel to knock the orange into the "cannon" and the other wheel the knock the globe into the bomb. (2) Sometimes if you fail at the above method, you can wind up getting the orange on the grass next to the wooden rectangle. If you get into this position you can wadge a wheel in between the rectangle and the wall and the orange should stay safe.
