Very cool old-school arcade racing game. Absolutely beautiful, and the purple/red traffic is an interesting way to get boost. There aren't enough 3D games done in Flash because it's difficult, and you really need to know what you're doing to execute it with any finesse at all. I'm impressed. That said, It's not long or complicated, and I find there is very little replay value once you've beaten everything with the supercar. It left me wanting more, but for gamers that want something easy to play for 2 minutes at a time this is a gem. I don't agree with people wanting bump resistance/weight increase, because this game is easy enough as it is. If you could hit every single powerup in every level the game would be pointless.
4/5
This game could be wonderful. But it's not. It has horrible controls, and what they are don't work well. The characters are too unbalanced and match ups are either too easy or too hard. The tournament mode is too much luck on what moves the opponent decides to use. The characters are funny and the animation are good, but that's about all there is to say about it. Could be a hilarious flash movie.
Geez why do people keep hating on the control system?! I THINK IT'S AWESOME! Seriously I'm so tired of that Guitar Hero style runway crap, because everyone does that. Honestly I think this system is just as easy if you're not an uncoordinated nincompoop.
In any case, I think this game is AWESOME, has a wonderful interface both for playing and creating music, and it should get 5/5 from everyone. The number of covers is sweet! The variety of rifs for you to play in your own music is amazing! Heck even the band designer is awesome!
Only two things I can think of that I'd really like to see: a multiple select-copy-paste function for grabbing the whole band's rifs and copying into another place, esp for complicated choruses, and girls and long hair in the designer.
It's nice to see this kind of classic game remade with some quality. Art is nice and easy to look at. Puzzles are challenging but not overly difficult. Nothing really innovative or special, so it won't stand out from others of its type. Missing bgm makes the pickax a little annoying after a while.
Solid remake of this type of classic puzzle game. Fans of these will really enjoy this. However, it's nothing new or special. It really only lacks something to make it stand out from others of this type. Short music loop and loud clunky footsteps are better than no sound, but get a little clunky.
Oh also, I really like how your poison and freeze towers work. Especially how they don't shoot at already affected enemies. That's something every tower defence game should learn from.
A solid tower defence game, but a bit simple. Art is good, and sound effects are sharp if a little annoying and repetitive (super tower). Could use a little more depth, such as enemy armor, elements, or something like that to keep the game interesting through all those levels. Somewhat more balanced towers would also be nice, as half of the given small selection of options are useless. 4/5 for lots of potential. I'd love to see a second game adding more functionality.
