I, for one, felt that it was a lovely story. The characters I believe are purposefully shallow; they're more so aspects of a person than anything. Their pettiness makes its purpose known in the end of the story, however.
For those who claim that the story is boring or that the gameplay is unenjoyable, there are plenty of other games on the site. We've got dozens of "idle" games where you do absolutely nothing, most without a storyline or any interactivity even in the finest sense of the word.
As for the grammar and spelling errors, I do agree with what's been said. It would've been better if the author had gotten someone with a better grasp of the English language to proofread it. (No offense meant)
This game is awesome. I found some "Magic Mushrooms" in the forest, tasted them, killed small animals and large insects with my wooden stick, then I was joined by a kitten ally named SKULLCRUSHER who assisted me in my travels.
The red herring could have fulfilled its purpose as a red herring, having led you to think it was useless in the first place, while also having another use, effectively, as Silencian said, throwing the player off track.
That's what he meant, Mengeloid.
Although the highlight should have been on obscene, the site could very well be sued for this.
I'm all for freedom of expression, and I do enjoy this game, but there are some people who wouldn't want their children playing such a game.
Now, you might think that whoever doesn't like it shouldn't play it.
Well, some people just HAVE to have their way.
