You just need to get out of the tunnel, grab a flame on the wall, keep going up until you reach the chandelier. Use the flame on it and the colossus is spiked off the area forever... Or is it? The boss in Death VS Monsters is actually the Grinning Colossus!

You have to burn the rope is so simple 4.9/5 for boss music (sounds like Ty the Tasmanian Tiger!)
