On a more constructive note, the balence in this game is poor. It takes forever to get to a certain point and then after that it takes 10 minutes to max out everything, then the rest of the game is easy. Also, how is it that I do like 49 damage against a tank with 4 guys and only 51 against a single guy with no horse? The fun of RPG-style games is leveling up and then getting to crush enemies that were once a challenge.
I really wanted to like this game. I put a fair amount of time into it. but once you get to a certain point it's just a clickfest. I had the boat-wagon, four high attack/defense employees with maxes weapons and sheilds, and we just kept going back and forth doing quests, wasting everyone. Not fun. New rule, if your game has an "auto-attack" button, it sucks.
I like this game actually. The strategy is different from traditional jewel games. It's about managing resources and getting the things that you need. For example, my strategy that I beat the game with was to focus on greens (since I used them for both poison and healing) and get every single blue I could see. Then I'd poison the comp and make sure they didn't get blues to clear themselves. Winning was very anticlimactic (just a screen that says congratulations). And it would be great, as others said, if there were more upgrades, or if you had to choose your upgrade path. Right now I had enough money to have everything fully upgraded before entering the final battle.
I don't know about this game. You start out with way too many skills and you don't know what they do. And I'm adding skill points with each level but I don't know what benefits each of the categories give me, or how the items will help me.
I don't know how I got a teir 5 result, despite clearing out all the dungeons before I was even half done. I think something's wrong with the scoring system.
Oh that sucks! I totally thought the demo went longer than that. Beat the obliterator with a lucky crit and was disappointed to find the game was done.
Fun but easy. And there were a few odd bugs. Like the guys with the red lasers made my whole map go black when they'd hit me. For like 5 seconds. Only on the first level they appeared and then never again.
This game is terrible. The strategy is insanely simplistic (just use a parasite with no symptoms until you infect everyone you can). And whether or not you win the game is just based on pure luck. Sometimes madagascar closes up early, sometimes it doesn't. And yeah its kind of interesting how the countries take all these counter measures, but none of them do anything. Once your disease is in a country they're all dead. Its really pretty terrible.
It was way too hard and then I took the advice to decorate the ship after the second level. Then the game became painfully easy. So, there's some imbalance there.
