When you think you've seen all in terms of games invoking emotion, and then you find this. I don't care about this games' age, I have to admit this is a work of beauty, of art, and of a straight jackhammer to your emotion. I am crying as I write this. I really am. This has to be one of the best that I've played so far. Well-deserved favoriting. Thank you.
I like how people seem to think I'm jesting. I'm standing right in front of a newly spawned guy and slash: Nothing happens. A bowman spawns and shoots me from the completely opposite corner: Instantly dead. I can slice at four guys charging their attack: Not a single one dies. I don't get how this is playable, yet part of a quest. =.=
I can't like this game. I simply can't. Not to mention that it starts to lag at seemingly random times (which completely screws me out of getting combos going), but it also completely ignores any of the slashes I make. I mean, I'm in the middle of five enemies and slash, and NOTHING happens whatsoever. It's completely impossible to earn this. I don't know whose idea it was to even badge this.
The amount of times the AI responds with Hound of Tindalos turn 1 on the 5 life challenges is truly mind-boggling. If you by some miracle manage to have Elder Sign in your starting hand, he drops Raid or Tommy Gun and you've gone boom. As much as I love the game (and the Lovecraftian lore) itself, all of these 5-life challenges should be on the hard tier of them. @_@
It's not my favorite TD (that spot goes to the Gemcraft series) but still a well executed game that I find fun in, especially due to the amount of fun little nods one notices if he reads the everythings. :)
