Also, once you adopt a policy with negative happiness, your happiness will be dropping regardless of what you do. I have a feeling this isn't ment to be a game at all...
The values were very hard for me to balance so I already feared something like this might happen. I will look into this. You do have 3 different bribe options to increase happiness though.
Edit: I've slightly decreased the amount of happiness that the bribe options cost and I've fixed a happiness related bug. I hope this solves the problem.
Thanks for letting me know. I'll fix this as soon as possible.
edit: for me it seems to work. I've tested it on all screens and different circumstances. Does anyone else face similar problems?
I can't seem to get the achievement for "earth 1". I'm assuming it's the first map of the earth realm. I've completed it with maximum of 2 units on adept and super cheater. Units got upgraded and I think I've built some towers and farms as well, not sure though. Does that change anything?
Another thing, I think the latest patch messed up fire a bit. I was replaying one of the fire campaigns and the fire neither spread nor got extinguished. Besides the usual explosions, there was fire popping up on a random square every so often as well, which I assume is normal, but it was not adjacent to any other fire square.
Thanks aaasssddd123. I was sloppy in the 1.25K patch with the fire bug, just fixed it in 1.26K. The achievement for "Earth 1" includes towers and farms and such... they count. You've got to do it with only two guys at all. It's a hard one!
There's only one path to victory.
Build village and upgrade it up to 3, then start building defences up to 3 or 4 soldiers. When you have that, build tavern, making sure your defenders stay with you. If you get attacked, build up your defences again, get them up to 5. Then upgrade your village to 5 (max), get the guard and then camp. Camp is weak and brings income very slowly. When you are fully upgraded, maintain your defences and build up your attack army which will take very long, attack at will (Click one of the two dudes standing next to your castle). You will have to restart often, because it's very luck-based. You can get attacked AND robbed before you even get a chance to get your village to level 2 on easy, or you can have a smooth ride.
The "last" 2/3 of the game are just perscriptive grinding.
For the next version I'd try and speed up the endgame a lot and make the events less random. Maybe grace period at the start with bigger attacks as the time goes on.
I'm pretty sure I lost city of engineers and capitol missions at the very end and it still repotred it as victory. Despite that, we need more games like this
Here's one bug. Level 1, I captured all villages including the "hidden" one, blue forces deploy and game freezes (no actual movement occurs, can't end turn). I'm guessing it's because the 5th village wasn't meant to be captured before other 4
...by the same author nonetheless. Your other games were better. 1 star because there was not much effort put into this one and was actually worse than your other ones.
Hi aaaasssddd123. Actually, there are a few new features that I've added to the game engine since ROBOTS AND REBELS that may interest you. The ability to build barricade hexes is a powerful new feature. The call cards to hand card type (the green one) is also a useful new tool. I am working on other new improvements for next months release. Thanks for playing.
It's an exact copy (ok, a few cards and names different) of a better game, which was even posted on Kongregate before. The only difference is this game is trying to be political, and thus, crap. Why are you trying to turn good games to piles of poop?
Oh, yeah, and I noticed a bug. Doon't remember how I got it, but the inventory screen flashed up with every research revealled. I can't close that screen and the game is frozen.
The game has great potential. Unfortunately it's very slow playing. The 'speed-up' is still very slow, painfully so at the start and even later on (like training your workers). It would also be great if you could see the names and price of things you could produce when you hover over them both in inventory and in the producing stations. There is also a spelling error (wapons, should be weapons). Maybe add some in-lab upgrades to keep your workers happier (or to reduce their happiness slower)? Upgrades of training and entertainment facilities?
I made the worker training 30% faster. Also you can see now the names, price
and the structures of the products in the storage screen (hover).
Spelling error corrected.

Thanks for playing. When players drop the ball, they have the option of completing the puzzle, but a “just for practice” message comes up and they won’t get the victory display at the end. It’s a compromise. And yes, playing under a strict time limit can add adrenaline. I might add some puzzles like that later.
@RoboBob3000,
Considering you have a few votes of aproval for your comment, I have to assume I must just be stupid. Here is where I am stuck at the moment: ( http://postimage.org/image/9i0ks8pnp/ ). How on earth do I get out of this?
So, do blue doors ever open? Is there only one level? Also, room 'First Level: Sence North, Thrice West' can not be escaped from if you kill the bug there.
The game's buggy.
The number I was supposed to guess was 35255.
My first guess was 12345. Result was 2 red X and no green V.
The next few were displaying correctly:
11222
33444
55555
22222
33333
My next guess was 23555 which gave me 3 red X.
Guess after that was 55235 which gave 2 green V and two red X.
No rating until the bug gets fixed.
There's a bug with the hidden boss at the end. I've collected all 3 stars at the top, killed ALL the units (honestly now) and demolished the "boss" building. End result? 3 stars and level failed.
If the upgrades were cheaper the game would be more enjoyable due to less grinding in my opinion
