yeah thats a good point watrio, I'm just having trouble getting it to work. Kongregate score api does not work if I use a seperate .swf. I'm going to do it internally eventually, it is just a LOT of tedius work to set it up.
Unfortunately due to the way flash saves files, it is impossible for me to transfer them firelord. The final release will be a fresh start, and a fresh race to 80. I will leave the beta up, completely in tact as is, so you will still be able to access and use any of your current characters just as you do now.
Yes, Beta means there will be another one, that I'm working on now. Should be out by the end of the month, with several new features and one new class and a new level cap of 80(with 3 new zones). I'll post in the updates for Beta when it's ready.
again, any speed difference when tabs are changed I cannot do anything about, its flash, and not under my control. Check the GrindQuest FAQ and try the work around there, or use a different partially visible window.
In 50+ dungeons the last boss has a 50% chance to drop an epic. Also, there is the continuous experience bonus (5%) for getting the achievement for beating a dungeon. Also, the blue gear may still be useful if you are looking for a different piece, like blue shield or tome, that you don't have. I think there is enough incentive to run dungeons considering these things.
It's 2 clicks azir. I did it so that new players aren't overwhelmed with 37 buttons. 2 clicks doesn't seem like a lot. Now that you mention it tho, I could add a hotkey for each menu with very little difficulty. Final version will like have that.
Trading/mailing does not work without a persistant server with a database. For example you want to trade an item, the game destroys the item and gives you a trade id. What is to stop you from giving it to 1000 people? The game cannot verify that this is the only time this item has been given without connecting to some sort of database. Database server means money and effort that I'm not quite willing to dump into a just for fun flash game ;)
Anything that causes you to leave dungeon mode, would reset the dungeon. That includes switching to idle mode, or pressing the rest button, which switches you to idle mode. Usually in a dungeon you want to set your auto rest to 99% to, rest after every fight. Auto rest is under "settings" action.
FYI: I plan to release one more update, with saved settings, better loot settings and a few new achievements. Afterwards I will work for a while on the final release, which means I will rerelease the game, without beta, and will add food, armor crafting, a fifth class the druid, any remaining bug fixes and 70-80 zones. Thanks for all your help with the beta, and I hope to see all of u playing the final version and racing to 80 ;).
Clearly you are in the minority randax...I'm sorry the game isn't for you, that doesn't mean it isn't for anyone. Play something else then, no reason to get upset.
Also I will look into the pyroblast and ambush things. Ambush is not supposed to work on adds, sapped or otherwise, so the bug actually is if it's working on adds. As far as the logical idea of ambushing someone who is sapped, maybe they know you are there and they snap out of the sap as soon as you touch them, so u can't really do it. That's just my weak justification though lol...since ambush is balanced around not working on adds.
