not great that higher runs give a debuff to prestige bonuses. Like what's the point of giving me a boost at the end of a run if the next run all of my prestiges will be halved anyways?
Aside from that, game is suspiciously similar to "Idle Game 1." Maybe having an "inspired by" message would be good, to at least credit the game that you're taking ideas from.
And to add to my last comment, if another browser works better, I'd greatly appreciate some sort of export feature so that I don't lose 28 mana of progress
I really enjoy this game, especially the fact that it has multiple prestige layers that all have their own unique flair. My issue at this point is just how slowly it runs. It might have something to do with how many calculations, automatic purchases, and multiplier increases that have to occur, but at around 28 mana the game is becoming unplayably slow. Might just be Firefox, but until this is fixed, (or somebody gets back to me about which browser to use for best performance) I won't be able to enjoy the game.
I'd love some indication of how each currency affects the multiplier we see in the achievement menu. Just as one more QoL thing for me and my love of optimization
Very confused about myst upgrade 4. For some reason it has something to do with BUPC even though by the time it's unlocked, I've completed literally every house.
Why is it that every time I buy a myst upgrade, it just does the equivalent of pressing the up arrow on the power? Like, none of these upgrades actually multiply the power, because the increase in power is still followed by a massive decrease in blocks/sec
The thing about adding another mechanic that will need to have the automation retained with favors, is that now it requires more favor resets to get to the investor prestige level. I'd recommend improving the lategame progression somehow to make up for this, seeing as the upgrade itself is just a minimal earlygame progression boost.
I just wish there was a single active element to this game. Like, maybe a single ring that you fill by clicking, or a multiplier that you gain from a minigame. Anything to boost the gameplay with actual play, rather than just waiting for my next 30s of speedup, using that, and then waiting again
It looks as if there's some sort of bug above 1e13 legacy points. I have 1e16 now, and my unit multiplier remains at x13.13, while my magic boost still says 1e11.
It's very grindy, but other than that a solid basic idea for a game. To speed it up a bit, you could fairly easily change the base of the logarithmic unit multiplier from the legacy points to 9 or 8, that way late game would see more drastic gains.
Can't seem to access any sort of dungeon, or anything else that might actually let me progress past having a max of 95 research and 65 gold. I suppose that I could just keep leveling up by smashing and filtching pumpkins, but that's pretty tedious, and active, play
at appentice the top tabs should open. you should be able to move into a home; buy small chest. buy large chest. use skills. dungeons are only a part of the game but not the main route to magic advancement.
Okay, thank you. The new autobuyer tab is a really great start! Now please just add one button per layer to toggle all of the autobuyers on that particular layer on or off.
There really needs to be something unique about each prestige layer, rather than just making it a formulaic extension of all the previous layers. If every layer is the same, then we all know that it could go on to infinity, and there's no incentive for us to continue. Also, the fact that once you get up into higher layers, it makes more sense to actively mess with the autobuyers for the first 3-4 layers, rather than letting all of them run, makes this whole thing seem a little pointless. Still, there's a lot of good game here, and I'll be sure to stick with it if the dev keeps updating
It would be really nice if we had some sort of record of say, the last five prestiges/autobuys, which persisted, so that we could tell how efficiently things are going along, and how high of a level we're reaching.
Thanks for the bug report! I'll look into this!
