This is one of those games where if you make a mistake earlier in the game - like spending your special power at the wrong time - the next part becomes (literally) impossible. So you just have to rewind and rewind and rewind, usually until the bugs grant you a full special power bar again. It just becomes a question of how long you're willing to spend rewining the same thing, again and again. And the reason you didn't get it right in the first place, is very often that the controls are rather unelegant, and the character often does something completely different from what you want him to do.
I can see how it takes time to draw sprites and backgrounds, and flash script the movement, and all that stuff, and they had an unconventional idea with rewind, so I'm sure SOME effort was put into this. But this is not a good game. Getting the points for me was a question of "ok, will I bother rewinding this thing 100 more times?".
wadark: The reactor is a power generator. Like the collectors, except that it takes longer (=costs more energy) to build, produces more power, and doesn't require any land of its own.
172% accuracy :)
And although that was probably my best game ever (judging from the fact that I got a new high score, and almost got all four criteria for an impossible badge (but only 385 disabled...)), I think I might have actually gotten 190% accuracy once.
You guys who say the graphics are crap are MORONS.
It's RETRO. It's a drawing style!
It takes effort to get it like that!
I like it, and you're all giving away your age and inexperience...
To beat the nightmare: Avoid the monster. When the brown rocks drop from the cieling, pick up any black gems they leave behind as they crumble. This will hurt the monster. It takes some patience to beat him. Especially if the game runs in slow motion, like it did on my computer.
I just gave away my last bow for today (will get 5 new tomorrow if the challenge is still on then). I need everything, especially BOWS and AXES. Free weapons appreciated. Thanks in advance
p. Ok, my formatting didn't work in my previous comment, sorry about the repost:

.p An empire is supposed to be a good thing now? You fight "the confused remnants of the Northern Alliance"? A mission called "taking out the trash"?
p. For anyone who has any sense of history, and some knowledge of what's going on in the world, this is utterly tasteless.
p. I'm gonna play the game for the badges, but the concept makes me sick...
p. For those who don't know: It's about the arrogant and ruthless slaughter of afghans for the sake of claiming worldwide USAian superiority and control. And it pays tribute to such empires as the british colonial rule, which is the root of much of the violence in Africa even today.

Part 2:
The different hero's only give you a few cards each as you complete a campaign with them. I've leveled up to 30 (max level) with all but one hero, but I am still lacking the witch card (I have all others though).
I don't know if the heroes have a fixed set of cards each, but they do have their own individual max mana and max castle defense. One has 2900 mana at exp level 30, while another has 3200, and so on.
Part 3:
Right now I am using the last hero in the list (Grullborg Grimtooth). He has a max mana of 3500, which I _think_ is the highest of the ones I've used (I didn't pay attention at first, because I didn't know the max mana were different between heroes).
Anyway, 3500 is more than enough to equip some really powerful cards.
Part 4:
What I equipped for cave 5 was:
Dragon Rider, Frost Giant, Mermaid, Black Knight, Healing Crystal and Centaur Archer. All of these were at their level 5 (max upgrade).
The idea was to use a lot of "tank"-type units and shooters that pushed, which would help according to what I'd read about the special goblin in comments.
I equipped the spell cards:
Healing Wave, Hercule's Strength, Meteor Strike, Pheonix Strike and Athena Protection. To keep me covered for when my units got in trouble. All of these were level 5 too, except the strength- and meteor-cards, which were level 4.
Part 5:
With this deck, cave 5 was easy. Actually, my deck was kind of overkill. I totally overran the enemy, and was never in any danger of loosing the battle.
So even if you lack a few of the cards I used, a partial variant of what I used will probably work.
I don't get it...
I beat the final castle, and then I get a congratulations, yada-yada, and my "game completed" count goes to 1. I return to the main screen and press "continue" to do a campaign with another hero, and I'm returned to my previous map with the final castle intact.
What am I supposed to do? I don't want to take the chance of starting a new game just to see what happens... I'm hours into this in this savegame.
Ok, one thing I don't like about this game is:
I tell my hero to step back because he's low on health, and then suddenly, without me telling him to do anything else, he runs into the enemies again like a moron and gets himself killed!
