the easiest way i've done it is turtle with turrets and a few units untill the last age , then make a war machine then 2+ super soldiers, that finishes it
go to the house in the town ( after your first sleep/save) in the very top right , talk to the guy , then go behind the lake and go into the sewers, kill a few, might want to open the chests while ur at it , one has a nice assessory

have any of you guys gotten the pegasus? 290* for 135 km ,from merdin dosent always appear though , awesome ride, 2000 carrying capacity and no water/forage consumption
the reason your moving so slow is your guy isnt riding the horse, you move as fast as your slowest vechicle, which is you , that why horses r basically useless, take too much supplies to maintain and its hard to even be able to go 15 km/hr anyway
