I see the issue here, the game is actually speeding up. After the 5th level, it continues to play itself without waiting for the player to respond. It takes advantage of your inablility to click and skips your turn.
its a sad bug, but it is still winnable. I beat several levels by quick clicking. but after the introduction of the seamonster, i couldnt keep up.
