This used to be my favorite idle/incremental game, there are a lot of things it does very well.
But the main problem with it is that it requires far too much input for not enough feedback or enjoyment. If you're not actively playing the game you barely get anywhere, the only thing that happens when you don't play is that you progress in your current run slight faster for a relatively small amount of time.
An idle game shouldn't require a 3rd party automation script to make it enjoyable.
When I first tried this game the comically bad graphics put me off and I didn't give it a proper chance, now I can see that it's easily the best idle game out there and probably the only one that is actually worth your time.
5/5 Every fan of idle games needs to play this.
What really ruins this game is that if you don't build the new rooms that you unlock from getting a star right away, your customers get butt hurt and your reputation just keeps going down. Why would you make it like that?
The only flaw that I haven't seen mentioned is the RP curve. Early in the game it's in very high demand and you can't get enough of it, but once you fully upgrade the RP gain and and research costs you never run out. This wouldn't have bothered me if it didn't happen so abruptly.
This game is great, mainly because it's something new. I get tired of playing the same crap over and over again. It also made me feel bad about killing zombies which is quite a feat. The voice acting was very good for a flash game. There's some minor flaws that the top comments mentioned, but they don't detract from the game too much. I'd say the game itself is a 4/5, but because the concept is so unique I gave it a 5. Really looking forward to a sequel.
Awful controls and really boring gameplay. I come to kongregate to play flash games, not to try to find the meaning of some stupid game and how it applies to my life. 1/5
I played through this game once and it was a little on the easy side. Then I played again with a different hero and after a couple castles, the revenge wave makes it imposable. Even using all my spells and pulling back, there's WAY too many. The difficulty jumps a ridiculous amount for no reason.
With the str/def/rep combo LionforZion mentioned, this game becomes WAY too easy. I beat over half the levels in about 30 seconds, my quickest one was 12. This game is still fun, but make the next one a lot harder. 3/5
The boss really wasn't that hard, I don't understand what the big deal is.
It's not easy, but you just have to focus on damaging him until your health is low, then focus on dodging his attacks while you heal.
Bad controls, I know they're supposed to be unique but its just a pain in the ass. I agree with SablePhoenix that you should label the menus, navigating them is also a pain in the ass.
Basically, your game is a pain in the ass. 2/5
