The broken glass beside the bath,

my best friend died.As he was about to leave shit hole of a naiborhood,he…he got shot in a random drive-bye.I’ve had the reputation of the tough kid that never cried,but these days are just hard.At random moments i just cant take it any more and i just break down and cry.I turn towards God and i constantly ask “why did you let this happen? Why? Why did you have to take him away?” like anything can change what happened. I try to move on but i can’t. i wonder what would have happened if I’d been there? Would he be alive? Would I be dead? Would we both be dead?

Sometimes I feel so alone,
I just don’t know, feels like I been down this road before.
So lonely and cold, it’s like something takes over me,
soon as I go home and close the door.
Kinda feels like Déjà Vu, I wanna get away from this place I do,
but I can’t and I wont say I tried but I know that’s a lie cuz I don’t,
